In Loving memory of Tracy Adair

T&M funeral home and why we started?

T&M Funeral Home is a trading name of Dimsky CIC, which is a not-for-profit, community interest company based in Camden. Below is a short bio from the owner and managing director Mrs Mary McNeilly about the inspiration and vision behing T&M Funeral Home and why it was launched on the 11th June, 2022.

My Story and why I started the company

My name is Mary McNeilly, Owner & Managing Director at T&M Funeral Home which is a trading name of Dimsky CIC, a local not-for-profit community interest company. T&M Funeral Home stands for Tracy & Mary, we are a first-generation independent family run funeral home. I have worked in the Funeral Industry since 2009 as an Employee for other Funeral Homes/Directors. I have helped thousands of bereaved and grieving families over the years and have always done my absolute very best to give each and every family everything they have asked for and more, for their loved ones in my care.

I have been thinking about opening my own funeral home since 2014, in memory of my late daughter, Tracy (inset above). She passed away at the age of thirty-eight, from an unusual and little known cancer called Cushing’s Disease. It was such a rare and unknown cancer at the time, that there weren’t any major treatments for it. She was given a number of trial chemotherapies for quite a long time, but sadly lost her battle to the disease in 2014. She was incredibly well looked after and cared for at The Marie Curie Hospice in Hampstead.

This is why I have decided to start T&M Funeral Home which is managed and owned by Dimsky CIC a local, non-profit, community interest company. Any profits T&M generate in the future willl go directly to Charitiy like Cancer Research and The Marie Curie Hospice. How we can acheive this is simple, when a family instructs T&M Funeral Home to arrange a funeral for their loved one they will be given the oppertunity of nominating a Charity of their choice for any profits that have been generated as a consiquencce of them using our services. If they do not wish to nominate a charity, we will use them funds to assist the communtiy directly, this could be to help build a local communtiy center, could be to assist with a local food bank, what ever it is, we will do our very best to make a difference and help where needed.

Thank you for taking your precious time to read this.

Mary McNeilly
